Return and Refund Policy

Overview
At Thomas Automobile, we strive to supply quality used auto parts. Due to the nature of used automotive components, returns and refunds are subject to the conditions outlined below.
Eligibility for Returns
To qualify for a return, all of the following conditions must be met:
• The return request must be made within 7 days from the date of receipt or collection.
• The item must be in the same condition as supplied.
• The item must not be installed, used, altered, or modified.
• The item must be returned with original packaging and all supplied components.
• Valid proof of purchase (invoice, receipt, or order confirmation) must be provided.
Returns that do not meet these conditions may not be accepted.
Non-Returnable Items
The following items are not eligible for return or refund unless confirmed defective at the time of delivery:
• Electrical and electronic components (including ECU, sensors, modules, and wiring parts)
• Special order, custom, or reserved items
• Clearance or discounted items
• Items damaged due to improper installation, misuse, modification, or handling
Return Procedure
To request a return:

• Provide your order number and reason for return
• Our team will review your request and provide instructions if the return is approved
Customers are responsible for arranging and paying for return courier or transport. Returned items must be properly packaged to prevent damage.
Shipping and Logistics Responsibility
All shipping, courier, and logistics arrangements are made and paid directly by the customer. Thomas Automobile does not collect shipping fees and is therefore not responsible for any shipping, courier, transport, customs, duties, or logistics costs. These costs are non-refundable and remain the sole responsibility of the customer.
Thomas Automobile is not responsible for any damage, loss, or delays caused by third-party courier or transport providers arranged by the customer.
Refund Policy
• Refunds are issued only after inspection and approval of the returned item
• Approved refunds will be processed within 7–14 business days
• Only the product amount paid will be refunded, excluding any shipping or logistics costs paid by the customer
• For orders paid via card (Stripe), refunds will be issued back to the original payment method used at the time of purchase
• For Pay on Pickup orders, refunds (if applicable) will be processed via bank transfer or another mutually agreed method
• In such cases, customers may be required to provide bank details for refund processing. These details will be used solely for completing the refund and will not be stored after the process is completed
Exchange Policy
• Exchanges are allowed only if an incorrect item was supplied by us
• Exchanges are subject to stock availability
• If replacement stock is unavailable, a refund may be issued
Defective or Incorrect Items
If you receive an incorrect or defective item:
• You must notify us within 7 days of receipt
• Provide clear photos and description of the issue
• Upon verification, we will determine whether replacement or refund is applicable
Important Notice for Used Auto Parts
• All used auto parts are sold as-is unless otherwise stated
• Customers are responsible for verifying compatibility before purchase
• We are not responsible for incompatibility due to incorrect customer selection
• Labour, installation, and related costs are not covered
Limitation of Liability
Thomas Automobile shall not be liable for:
• Damage caused during or after installation
• Improper installation, handling, or misuse
• Shipping damage or loss caused by customer-arranged courier or transport
• Any indirect or consequential losses
